Part 2 will allow us to dive into the exact language, words and phrases you can use to enable the team to step up, take more ownership and responsibility. How you speak to others has a direct influence on how they respond, what they think and feel and ultimately what they do. Using specific coaching language is an easy way to make conversations more powerful and more empowering.
You will learn:
Key practical coaching skills and how to:
- Use language that is positive and solution focussed
- Use open questions to encourage the other to reflect and evaluate so they think more and ask for less
- Use specific phrases to start conversations and encourage openness
- Use the others’ language to help them feel understood and listened to
