DEI Action Group – Summer Catch up & Coffee – Your Biggest DEI Questions (Member Event)
Thursday 4th August, 9am – 11.00am – The Marketing Store, 16 Hatfields, London, SE1 8DJ (or virtually if you are unable to join us in person)
For the next Alliance DEI Action Group Meeting we welcome you to join us for an informal Summer edition of the DEI Action group. In which we will meet for a different kind of session- to refuel our confidence to keep doing the work and to provide a space to come together.
Our plan is to meet both virtually and in person (for those that want to) in order to share our progress and leverage our collective knowledge, experience and superpowers to coach around the biggest DEI questions you might have:
- How do we find the time for DEI?
- How do we bring leaders on the journey?
- How do we make flexibility work for everyone?
- Are our diverse employees actually staying?
- What is HR’s role in DEI?
The aim is that we all go away with some ideas, answers and an all-important confidence boost to carry us through the rest of the year!
The session will be from 9.30am – 11am, however if you are joining in person please arrive from 9am, where breakfast and coffee will be provided to really set us up for a great discussion.
We look forward to hopefully meeting many of you for the first time properly – if you are based outside of London please do still join remotely (details will be on the calendar invite when you register), we would love to see you.
No prep required, just bring yourselves and any questions – but we do ask that you read this HBR article that asks, Are Your Organisation’s DEI Efforts Superficial or Structural?”
