Gideon Spanier has been UK editor-in-chief of Campaign since March 2020 and was named editor of the year, business & finance by the British Society of Magazine Editors in February 2021. He joined Campaign as head of media in 2015 and previously worked at the London Evening Standard, The Times and The Independent. He is a former chairman of the Broadcasting Press Guild and began his career as a TV producer at CNN in London.
