STRATEGY ACTION GROUP (Member Event)

2021 sees the launch of our Alliance Strategy group. It’s a chance for anybody in membership with a role in strategy and planning to form a new community. The first meeting will be a chance to pool ideas around what the group can achieve and discuss challenges and opportunities for the year. We then have a presentation to launch a mentoring/internship programme within the group for junior strategists and new talent, inviting feedback and participation from the group. If you’re a planner, strategy director or similar and could benefit from a community specifically for you please come along.

AGENDA

15 mins – DISCUSSION – what do YOU want to get out of an Alliance strategy group? What value can the Alliance strategy bring to your role / agency? Please come prepared with some thoughts. Purpose – ensure that the group becomes action-orientated and can deliver tangible value to members.

15 mins – DISCUSSION – the future of planning and strategy in independent agencies – we want to produce an industry thought piece that shines a light on what we believe the future looks like for our discipline – please come prepared to discuss top-line themes, but also keen to recruit willing participants! Purpose – kick off our collaborative thought piece and deliver a ‘product’ for the Alliance.

15 mins – DISCUSSION – mentoring members – last time we spoke about the appetite for, and benefit of, cross-mentorship in the group – different thinking processes, perspectives, points of view. To discuss different ways that we could make this happen.

15 mins – AOB, discussion.
