Tessa  has over 30 years experience in running workshops and coaching programmes for agencies.  Her background is as a trained actress and drama teacher.  Tessa has developed a business that aims to support confident and not so confident speakers to take control and create an impact when presenting, whatever the circumstances.  Her style is challenging yet supportive.  She aims to get her participants to connect with their purpose rather than presenting from a prescribed formula.

Creative Slam

As part of the ever-popular GreenJam programme, designed to develop junior to
mid-level members of our agencies, the Creative Slam is a highly energising, insightful and fun way to experience the power of creativity.

It’s a Live event where participants are given 45 minutes, in groups of around 6, to solve a client brief. They use the time to create ideas, consider the target market and communication channels and create a compelling presentation. It’s a fast-paced event that will leave participants and the client breathless.

Have you ever suffered burnout or felt that you could be close? Well so have I.

In a world where everything is moving at 100 miles an hour, and everything seems urgent, it can feel impossible to take a step back and pause, but by not doing so you are then putting yourself at the risk of burnout.

In this session I am going to be talking through some of the most common causes of burnout, symptoms that you need to watch out for, and what you can learn to help break the cycle.

Sophie is a business director at media agency John Ayling and Associates, the independent media agency that backs the underdog. She has over 14 years experience in media and started her career at JAA, before trying agencies PHD and VCCP Media before going back to her roots at JAA. Over the past year Sophie has been working towards her ACC Coaching accreditation, and she is already a Level 2 ICF Accredited Transformative Life coach. Sophie is passionate about driving a culture of balance in the marketing world, where ambition and drive doesn’t have to mean burnout.
