The Alliance’s “Creative Hero” – The Marketing Store

The Alliance is proud of its Member Agencies and independent agency network. It is filled with independent creative minds who know how to drive action through creativity and make our clients’ brands compelling, and our Creative Hero column is here to celebrate that. It’s the reason we are thrilled to announce this week’s winner of the Alliance Creative Hero… The Marketing Store!

The piece of work that I would like to highlight at The Marketing Store is our new Global Happy Meal Readers launch for McDonald’s, in which we have partnered with Little People, Big Dreams.

In 2015 McDonald’s launched the Happy Meal Readers Programme which offers families the opportunity to choose between a book or toy when purchasing a McDonald’s Happy Meal. The Little People, Big Dreams series features 18 books, each containing abridged stories from the original series by Sánchez Vegara. Each book’s title begins: “I Can…”, and highlights impactful individuals with diverse talents and backgrounds.

The project was headed up by the Global Happy Meal account team who executed the campaign and managed multiple stakeholders, from initiation and strategy to creative execution and digital activation. With a striking key visual that attracts a family audience, the Creative teams have showcased their talents, whilst the Digital team have bought it all to life. In highlighting this project, a special mention also goes to the Client Services team at The Marketing Store who effectually delivered the project Globally to the client, supporting all markets and sustaining a variety of relationships.

If you know of an agency creative or team that has gone above and beyond, feel free to reach out to kirsty@allindependentagencies.org to get them nominated for the next Creative Hero!
