Your talent pipeline; everything you didn’t know you didn’t know, and tools to make change. How classism impacts our workplaces (DEI Action Group)
Just 16% of the Creative Industries come from working class backgrounds (Source: Make the Leap).
As we launch our talent pipeline partners initiative, please join us on 14th November for a interactive panel discussion where we will be joined by expert panelists to discuss progress within our current talent pipelines, and what we need to do next.
We know this has been a hot topic of late, perhaps you already have an initiative and are making progress, perhaps you think you know all you need to know about how classism impacts our workplaces; but we are confident that our panelists will bring new perspectives and provide renewed energy and tools around this important topic. Our ambition is that every member agency takes action around their talent pipeline in 2025 and this is a discussion to help you do that.
Our panellists will include:
Both Lucy and Leo will share their own experiences working with young people, data and the realities of what needs to change, and how our agencies can help.
We will also be joined by alumni from successful pipeline partnership schemes who will share their own experiences.
We will explore key themes, data, barriers, challenges and actions, and take questions from the floor. Please join us for what will no doubt be a great conversation. We invite every member agency to attend, especially those in leadership positions, and anyone charged with people or DEI responsibilities.
