AMI sits within the Alliance as a specialist community of ‘channel-neutral’ media planning and/or buying agencies. Its mission is to: Do significant things together, that no one of us could do alone. This means raising the value of ‘independence’ to clients,  and levelling the playing field vs HoldCo agencies. With members across most of the UK’s leading indies, AMI’s combining billings are over £1bn per year.
Media owners, digital platforms and other suppliers see AMI as an efficient way to engage with the indie agency long tail. This means that they are willing to offer value to AMI members over and above what any indie could access on their own. It’s also a community – connecting all levels and disciplines in member agencies, from leaders, to planners, FDs, HR Heads and more. We learn from each other, as well as enjoying collaborating!
AMI member agencies are happy to collaborate on most things (outside our key disciplines of planning and buying of course). If your agency is independent, makes most of its income from planning/buying media & routinely plans across the full range of media, we’d love to welcome you on board!

Currently we are accepting applications from Independent Media Agencies who offer their clients media-agnostic, neutral-solutions and derive over 50% of their revenue from media planning and/or buying.
