TRAINERS:
Frania Cooper and Rebecca Bennis are lawyers at Lee & Thompson LLP, one of the UK’s leading law firms for the media, technology and creative industries.
Frania is a Legal Director and part of the dispute resolution team. Frania advises clients across the media, entertainment and technology industries on a range of IP and contractual disputes and has extensive High Court litigation experience. She also undertakes non-contentious work for clients in the marketing, advertising and publishing sectors, including advising on contractual negotiations and providing clearance advice. Frania is also an experienced data protection compliance lawyer, helping clients navigate, understand and comply with complex data protection and e-privacy laws.
Rebecca is an Associate and part of the dispute resolution team, focusing on disputes and regulatory compliance within the creative and technology industries. She assists brand owners, agencies, content creators, and industry groups with matters such as contractual disputes, regulatory complaints and data protection compliance. She also provides clearance advice, using experience gained on secondment as a programme lawyer in Channel 4’s legal and compliance team, and teaches on the Alliance of Independent Agencies’ Diploma in “Strategy, Creativity and Communications” alongside Dominic Bray (Head of Dispute Resolution).
