Sara Shahvisi – Chief Learning Officer | Fearless Futures

The DEI Action Group invite you to a special edition of our regular meets as we invite Sara Shahvisi, Chief Learning Officer at Fearless Futures for a highly engaging and interactive virtual workshop on ‘Courageous Conversations: embedding equity and inclusion learning conversations into your everyday culture’. This will take place virtually on the 8th June from 10-11.15am.

Fearless Futures are an organisation that work with daring businesses to engage people in critical thinking to understand and challenge the root causes of inequalities and grow powerful new leadership for transformative change. They offer company-wide workshops, E-Learning and consultancy services to elevate everyone’s baseline inclusion and equity capabilities.

WHAT TO EXPECT – A DEI workshop like no other:
This workshop builds the capacity to call others in when everyday inequities appear to move toward a culture of accountability and inclusion.
• A structure to identify when to call in and a guide on how to call others in. Roleplay opportunities to practice this framework.
• Opportunities to reflect on learning and make commitments moving forward to integrate productive conversations a part of staff’s everyday practices

ACTION: Participants will leave with robust frameworks and mechanisms to build a culture of accountability.

WHO CAN ATTEND? – Anyone, this is open to all who want to be equipped with further tools and knowledge on DEI, but we particularly encourage those who are managers, or in a leadership role to attend so you can take back to your organisations and implement the learnings.

You can find out more about Fearless Futures and their work here: https://www.fearlessfutures.org/

We look forward to you joining us for this unique workshop on the 8th June,

The DEI Action Group Committee
