The Change Counsel: Gen Z on Change

A live conversation bridging generations to listen, learn, and lead better, together.

At this year’s Festival of Happiness, we introduced The Change Counsel;  a live forum where leaders proactively step outside their usual circle to seek fresh and candid insight from their peers on how to lead differently. During that session, we invited the audience to put their live leadership questions to our Counsel, and one theme kept coming up again and again: the reality of leading a multigenerational workforce.

At the Festival, our Change Counsel was made up entirely of Agency Leaders. But if we’re talking about generational understanding, it’s time to hear directly from Gen Z themselves.

We’re excited to bring The Change Counsel to our next Inclusion Action Group meeting and this time, in a unique Alliance first, the Counsel will be made up entirely of Gen Z voices from our entry-level talent partner, Good Nugget’s Kick Starter Programme.

Good Nugget is a non-profit organisation dedicated to creating better access to the creative industries for under-represented talent. They’re training and championing the next generation of creative thinkers, strategists, and change-makers and we’re thrilled to hand them the mic.

Join our Action Group Lead Gemma Popejoy (Founder at Pivot Forward) & meet the counsel:

Cuba Campbell

Ella Desouza-Willock
An advertising student moving into creative strategy, exploring how intuition can shift industry norms. Also part of the British Airways crew — always ready for adventure and new perspectives.

Dylan Williams-Grut
An advertising and brand design graduate from Ravensbourne University, obsessed with building identities and telling stories that connect.

Nandi

Nandi has been Strategy Apprentice at Turner Duckworth since September 2024! Nandi is currently working with Kurt Geiger to shed light on entering the  creative industry).

Our panel of Gen Z creatives, strategists, and changemakers will take live questions from the audience  sharing what leadership, culture, and change look like through their eyes.

This session will be casual, conversational, and open to everyone.

Expect honesty, energy, and fresh ideas that challenge assumptions and help every generation understand each other better.

This isn’t about division, it’s about connection.
Listening. Learning. Finding the common ground that makes change work.
