TRAINING : How to Use Coaching Skills to Empower Your Team
Imagine this Monday morning scenario – your team are confident, they come to you with solutions, they make effective decisions, they do a great job – in short, they are empowered and motivated.
This is what happens when you become a leader-as-coach. With some key coaching skills, you can enable the team to think for themselves and build trust, self-responsibility and confidence. This in turn helps create a growth-oriented culture, collaboration, makes employees feel valued and retains talent.
In this session, leaders of teams will:
- Understand the principles of how and why a coaching approach works
- Experiment with 3 core coaching skills – active listening, using questions to boost initiative and the principles required to build trust
- Know how to apply these skills in specific scenarios to improve performance and productivity
