TRAINING : How to Build Empowered Teams

When teams are empowered and have the confidence to challenge the status quo, they are 69% more successful, according to IDEO research.  An empowered team is highly engaged, takes responsibility and initiative, collaborates well and is confident, leading to higher performance, autonomy and higher quality client delivery. This session will give you the principles, techniques and tips to begin to empower your team, and to enable higher productivity and even better client delivery across the agency. You will leave with an action plan to take forward.

YOU WILL LEARN

  • Building a vision of what empowered teams look like in your agency
  • A clear pathway with five steps with easy to apply techniques and practices. These are: Preparing for change; Articulating joint purpose and vision; Enabling open communication; Building collaborative autonomy and Reviewing progress
  • Creating your step by step action plan

COURSE STRUCTURE

A fun, interactive and creative session which can include bite sized theory, creative tools, reflection time, group discussion and small break outs. You will be given a practical toolkit which can be used immediately back in the agency.

Sharon Baker is a highly experienced leadership coach and trainer. She worked in creative agencies for 20 years as an award-winning producer, client services director and as MD. For 10 years she has coached CEO’s, entrepreneurs and leadership teams in creative agencies and corporations like the BBC, Barclays, Esso. She enables leaders and managers to have the confidence, authenticity and emotional intelligence to perform at their best and lead high performing teams. She is in the top 1% of accredited coaches in the UK. She has a psychology degree, is a fine artist and has a Post Graduate degree in coaching
