We all have a duty to depict sustainable behaviours in our client campaigns. Every Brief Counts is a new initiative from Ad Net Zero which aims to educate teams on the key sustainable behaviours outlined by climate science and the ways to tell these stories effectively through advertising. To support this initiative, the Advertising Association, Ad Net Zero and Kantar have launched The Sustainable Behaviours Advertising Tracker. The new report will provide a quarterly and annual review of how and where sustainable behaviours feature within advertising campaigns. It will provide a new level of insights to the advertising industry, with benchmarks across categories for the portrayal of more sustainable behaviours.
Hear from Ad Net Zero and find out how you can get involved.
Our member leads Katy Barney (ESG Lead) & Elli Robinson (PR Consultant) both from Alliance member agency AMBITIOUS will be joined by Sophie Pemberton, Senior Engagement Director at Ad Net Zero.

The key to an agency’s success is often down to how it can differentiate itself from others in what most believe to be an over crowded/supplied agency market – there are over 25,000 agencies in the UK.

So please join our guest Robin Bonn at the next CEO Summit, when Robin will be leading the discussion around his new book The Market of One (to be published 8th July)
Robin believes the agency market is not over supplied but under differentiated.
So how can your agency best stand out, attract better clients and build a high margin business?
We hope Robin and your agency CEO peers can reinforce your current approach to differentiating your agency proposition or inspire you to see a new angle.
You can sign up below, numbers for this event are limited.

From Burnout to Breakthrough: How to build anti-toxic cultures in agencies
Isabel Odlin, Member Lead for the Wellbeing Action Group is over the moon to share that Pauline Hughes will be joining July’s Wellbeing Action Group.
Pauline Hughes is an expert in creating fearless workplace cultures that empower people and drive business success. Drawing from her own experience overcoming burnout as a communications director, she has coached thousands of leaders at companies like Chanel, AstraZeneca, and Google to foster meaningful, lasting change beyond quick-fix wellbeing solutions. Founder of Gains Consultancy, Pauline combines deep expertise with passion and authenticity to inspire better leadership and higher performance worldwide. She’s also a former PR Director, non-executive director, and charity trustee, bringing warmth and actionable insights to corporate events and conferences globally.
Please join us on 15th July to explore: ‘From Burnout to Breakthrough: How to Build Anti-Toxic Cultures in Agencies.’ Agencies are facing a critical culture crisis—burnout is rising, turnover is accelerating, and toxic dynamics are damaging both morale and performance. This interactive workshop goes beyond surface-level solutions to address the root causes of toxic environments. Through real-world stories, live polling, and a practical transformation framework, participants will explore how to shift from quick fixes to systemic change. Expect actionable strategies focused on improving retention, wellbeing, client relationships, and business outcomes.
What makes this different? It’s built specifically for agency life—pitch pressure, creative tension, and all. Participants won’t just listen; they’ll actively problem-solve real challenges with on-the-spot coaching and leave with tools they can apply immediately. This is where real change begins.

The CEO Summits are one of the key events in the calendar for the Alliance that are both targeted at agency CEOs and are by invitation only.
The CEO Summits, that take place every quarter, are restricted to 20 invited guests for each event, who get together along with an invited expert in their topic, sit around one table and hold a single conversation/discussion for 60 minutes.
Previous topics have included Scaling Your Business at Speed, an International Special, Is the Current Agency Model Fit for Purpose, amongst many others that are relevant to that specific moment in time.
It is an open conversation, under Chatham House rules, and provides the opportunity for CEOs to discuss openly with their peers the big issues not only across the industry for independent agencies but also for those matters that are significant in the CEOs own agency. We look forward to inviting you to our next CEO Summits. Closer to the time we will update you on the specific topic for this session.
