Everyone wants to embrace AI innovation. But no one wants to risk losing customer data, weakening their unique edge, or getting things wrong on skills and GDPR.

This small roundtable brings together independent agency leaders to talk openly about the challenges in a safe space with peers facing the same questions. Ed and Tom will be there representing Herdify, contributing to the discussion and sharing perspectives on building AI tools designed to operate in strict GDPR environments.

Following the roundtable, a practical playbook style guide will be produced, capturing insights from the discussion.

Meet Tom & Ed:

Tom Ridges: | CEO & Co-Founder at Herdify

Ed Barter  | CPO & Co-Founder at Herdify

Tom Ridges – CEO & Founder, Herdify

Tom Ridges is the Founder and CEO of Herdify, a behavioural science software platform that helps organisations grow by understanding how decisions actually spread.

After 20 years working with data, including roles at Microsoft, Tom became increasingly interested in how influence moves between people.

That led to Herdify, a platform built on network theory, behavioural science, and AI that identifies where word-of-mouth is already building in the real world, helping organisations focus their marketing where it will have the greatest impact.

He often speaks about herd mentality, social influence, and why five connected customers can be more valuable than ten isolated ones.

Dr. Ed Barter – CPO & Co-Founder, Herdify

Dr. Ed Barter is a Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Herdify, a behavioural science software platform that helps organisations grow by understanding how decisions actually spread.

A data scientist and mathematician, Ed leads the development of Herdify, applying network theory, behavioural science, and machine learning to identify where word-of-mouth is already building in the real world.

His work draws on experience across industry and academia, with research published in leading journals and presented internationally on topics including how behaviour spreads through networks.

At Herdify, he focuses on translating complex patterns of behaviour into practical tools, helping organisations understand where influence is strongest and where their marketing will have the greatest impact.
